Australia Celebrates Live

Australia Celebrates Live is a national tribute to everything that is great about Australia on Australia Day. Pack your picnic rug, cover yourself in Australian colours and enjoy 2012's great evening of entertainment on Wednesday January 25^th on the lawns of Parliament House.

The celebrations kick off at 6pm with the Australian of the Year Awards and will be followed by the Australia Celebrates Live concert.

Entry is free.

New to the event in 2012 is the introduction of the ‘Family Area’ on the grass slope of Parliament House.   The ‘Family Area’ is a glass and alcohol-free zone where families can enjoy a great view of the concert and the big screen in a more relaxed environment.
