DonateLife Walk 2012

Join thousands of Canberrans for the 2012 DonateLife Walk on Wednesday February 22^nd and show your support for organ and tissue donation. This year there’ll be two simultaneous walks, the regular walk around the lake across Kings and Commonwealth Avenue bridges and a shorter walk option through Commonwealth Park. Everyone will gather at 6.45am and both walks will kick off at 7am sharp from the same start at Regatta Point. The bridge-to-bridge circuit around Lake Burley Griffin takes about 45 minutes to an hour and the new shorter walk going through Commonwealth Park takes about 20 to 25 minutes. Both walks finish at Regatta Point with a free healthy breakfast. You can walk or jog at your own pace, and pets, children and friends are very welcome.
