Former Commonwealth Ombudsman Ron McLeod has been appointed to head the inquiry into the workplace dealings of Opposition Leader Zed Seselja.

The man who led the Bushfires Commission will investigate allegations levelled at Mr Seselja including a claim money has been channelled directly from the Liberal Party to the taxpayer.
