Men Caught After Robbing McDonald's

Two men have been arrested and will face court in connection with a robbery at Conder McDonald’s earlier this week.

At around 4 o'clock on Monday morning a man pretending to make an order at the Drive-Through, jumped through the window of the fast food restaurant.

The offender threatened staff at knifepoint demanding money, while his accomplice waited in the car.

They escaped with a sum of cash.

Police were notified on Tuesday the men were residing in a house in Gilmore, before making the arrests.

The 24-year-old from Phillip and 22-year-old from Gilmore are charged with a range of offences and are expected to front the ACT Magistrates Court today.
