1

Canberrans are being urged to look out for symptoms, following one confirmed case in the ACT.

The person contracted the infection while overseas.

Members of the public who may have attended the Asian Noodle House in Dickson or the chemist on Northbourne Avenue Laste Tuesday evening may have been exposed.

People may not get symptoms until 7-18 days after being first exposed.

Symptoms include fever, tiredness, sore eyes and a cough which is followed by a rash appearing 2-7 days later.

This is the first reported case of measles this year with ACT health urging everyone to get their vaccinations up to date.
