McGrady Joins Indigenous Elected Body

A new member will join the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elected Body.

Paula McGrady has been elected to fill the casual vacancy, following the resignation of Ross Fowler last month.

It meant all candidates who stood unsuccessfully at the 2017 election were invited to contest the spot.

Ms McGrady is a proud indigenous woman from Mid-Northern NSW, currently working at the Bimberi Youth Justice Centre.

Prior to that she had a long history working in the Community Sector for over 15 years in Education, Family and Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
