Fitzharris Says Pregnancy Warnings Should Be On All Alcohol Packaging


The ACT Government is calling for mandatory pregnancy health warnings on alcoholic beverages.

Currently, warning labels are voluntary when it comes to messages about the dangers of drinking while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Health Minister Meegan Fitzharris is calling for the labels to mandatory right across Australia, ahead of tomorrow's ministerial forum on food regulation.
