Alleged Mawson arsonist remanded in custody
A woman faced the ACT Magistrates court yesterday over a deliberately lit Mawson house fire that caused more then $250,000 worth of damage. Police initially arrested Priscilla-Lee Wieland after the fire in June. She then allegedly skipped bail before being apprehended again October 10.

Canberra rental prices on par with Sydney

Canberra rental prices on par with Sydney
Canberrans are still paying the equal highest rent in the country, with the median asking price for a house in the Capital $550 a week. Domain's latest State of the Market Rental Report shows Canberra rents have jumped by 8.4% in the past 12 months, to be on par with Sydney.
