Footage Shows Man Starting Fire At Gorman House

Police have obtained CCTV footage, showing a man deliberately lighting a Canberra property on fire last month.

Police are continuing to investigate the suspicious fire which occurred on Monday October 16th.

Around 5am, authorities were called to Gorman House on Ainslie Avenue in Braddon, after a fire alarm went off.

Authorities Concerned After First Aid Drug Kit Stolen

A first aid kit has been stolen from ACT Ambulance Services.

The facility was broken into early yesterday morning and the pack was taken.

It contains drugs and that can injure or kill a person if not administered correctly.

Drugs Seized During Festival Near Yass

Police have made over 150 drug detections at a music festival south of Yass.

A six day operation was carried out at the event in Wee Jasper, which attracted more than 4 thousand people.

22 drivers tested positive to illicit drugs and 5 people were found to be drink-driving.

Rattenbury Denies Back-Door Fee To Power Bills

A 10-dollar-fee for tree trimming, added on to Canberra power bills, is being described as a "back door" increase to the cost of living.
