Police are asking for our help locate a missing Canberra girl.

14-year-old Grace Bewley was last seen around 7pm yesterday in Calwell.

She is Caucasian, with a slim build and light brown hair. She was wearing hooded black jumper, black shorts, cream shoes and carrying a backpack.

International tourism up, but Opposition says domestic tourism is being forgotten

Canberra's international tourism numbers have reached a record high, with almost 250,000 people visiting the capital last financial year.

The majority of visitors came from China, followed by the United Kingdom, the U.S., New Zealand and India.

Despite the boost, the Canberra Liberals say domestic tourism is being overlooked.

Roads closed due to bushfire

Roads closed due to bushfire

A number of roads remain closed around Canberra's south due to the bushfire.

Kambah Pool Road from Kambah Pool to Mount Vernon Drive, and Paddy's River Road between the Cotter Road picnic area and Tid-bin-billa Road is also closed to the Point Hut Road intersection.

Kambah Pool, Camp Cottermouth and Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve are also blocked off....
