Export company lands in Canberra

Pak Fresh Handling services have landed in Canberra.

The company, which looks after 100% of South Australian perishable exports to regions including Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpa will now be servicing the ACT region through the Canberra Airport.

ACT electricity prices to rise

Electricity prices in the ACT are on the rise. Canberra households will face a $299 increase on their electricity bills from July this year.

ACT police investigate attempted abduction

ACT police are investigating an incident where a man has allegedly tried to abduct a woman from a Canberra bus stop. Police say the man tried to drag the 24-year-old woman into his car in Gordon yesterday morning.
 
The victim was able to fight off the man, who was least seen fleeing in a small white car down Woodcock Drive.
