What do you think of Bernard Tomic? Is he a future champion or will his off court persona overshadow his brilliance on court...i think both.
Bernard Tomic reminds me a little of Lleyton Hewitt at the beginning of his career.
When someone knew arrives on the scene whether it be in sport, television or in life in general we look for a connection before we embrace the talent.
People want to establish a connection, understand and respect their personality and be able to relate to them before they will speak highly of them.
I think that's the case with Bernard. He clearly has talent and will more than likely win tournaments in the future but we're not sure about him as a person. In press conferences, interviews and around the locker rooms, he seems to be a little cocky and sure of himself.
I think confidence is one of the best traits a person can have, but there's a fine line between confidence and an out of control and unjustified ego.
For me, Tomic could be the tonic that Australian Tennis needs, but he needs to focus more on the tennis.
You don't have to talk yourself up Bernard, leave that job to the general public and you'll gain the respect you desire.

Manly in Sydney (That’s my excuse for being a Manly Sea Eagles fan)
Cooking.
Most nights you can find me stirring, whisking, slicing or baking.
Wine.
I have a big cellar of vino. I have some great $20 bottles and even a few decent $3 bottles.
Driving.
Love packing the car up and hitting the road for a weekend away.
My family, my partner, my cat. I’d also have trouble saying “No” to red wine, cheese and chocolate.
More restaurants per capita than any other Australian city. Love all four distinct seasons, especially winter. It’s got everything except a beach, and even that’s not far away
