Up to 70mm expected to fall in Canberra

We're in for a wet weekend in the nation's capital with up to 70mm expected to fall over the next three days.

The Bureau of Meteorology says a large cloud mass sitting north of Canberra will likely bring 20 to 30mm to the territory today.

Jerrabomberra man arrested for drug driving after doing 190km/h

A 22 year old Jerrabomberra man been charged with driving under the influence of drugs after allegedly being clocked doing 190 kilometres an hour.
