Woman freed from car following serious crash in Tuggeranong

A woman has been taken to hospital in a critical condition following a crash on the Monaro Highway.

The accident happened in Tuggeranong last night between Isabella and Johnson drives – closing the southbound lane for some time.

Firefighters had to free the teenager from her car after it flipped on its side.

ACT Policing say they’re pleased no one died on the Territory’s roads during the Easter weekend, but too many drivers were caught either speeding, drug or dink driving.

ACT to ease travel restrictions with Brisbane

The ACT Government has welcomed news of Queensland ending its 3 day lock down in Greater Brisbane.
