Covid restrictions to ease in Canberra

Coronavirus restrictions will ease in the ACT this weekend, as the government gets ready to make its contact tracing app mandatory for businesses.

Accused Pleads Not Guilty of Sue Salthouse Death

Ngunnawal resident Mitchell Ryan Laidlaw, 33, who is accused of killing disability advocate Sue Salthouse pleaded guilty to a charge of drug-driving as a repeat offender.

High school in Canberra’s south placed into lockdown

A high school in Canberra’s south has been placed into lockdown this morning, with a young person taken into custody.

ACT police say officers responded to reports of a disturbance at the school before midday today.
