ACT Government planning for Floriade

Floriade could still be held at Commonwealth Park this year, despite COVID-19 restrictions.

The ACT government says it’s hoping to bring the event back to its traditional home in 2021 .

The Enlighten Festival is being used as a test case to see if large-scale events can be held safely in Canberra.

146 passengers arrive in Canberra on repatriation flight

The ACT has welcomed 146 returning Australian Citizens and permanent residents on a Government funded repatriation flight from Singapore.

The flight had a total of 177 returned travelers while the other 31 passengers continued onto Sydney to undertake hotel quarantine.
